CBC is an organization in Schoolcraft County of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula that raises funds for the American Cancer Society, Bay Cliff Health Camp, and Community Charities—hence “CBC”.
From our humble beginning in 1968 on WTIQ Radio in Manistique, CBC has become an annual fundraiser that has generated over $1.6 million in funds for the charities.
Many community events are held throughout the year that benefit the CBC Fund Drive. Events such as the basketball and volleyball tournaments draw participants from a wide area. Many local pubs and clubs hold CBC events such as a celebrity bartender and prize auction, a chili cook-off, brown bag auction, euchre tournament, and wine/beer tasting social. These events have become very popular among the community.
We highly encourage organizations, businesses and individuals to get involved. Every little bit helps! If you are interested in hosting an event, please reach out to someone on the committee.
