2022 Year End Distributions

CBC wrapped up the 2022 fundraising year and is excited to announce that $51,000 was raised to donate to well deserving charities. The committee would like to express how grateful it is for all the efforts and thanks everyone who played a part in the 2022 fundraising year!

The 3rd charity chosen for 2022 was St. Vincent de Paul. St. Vincent de Paul provides assistance for community members in need with food, shelter, utilities, rent, transportation, and other forms of

charity. For more information call (906) 341-8181.

In addition to St. Vincent de Paul, the committee also decided to donate a portion of the money raised to our local Schoolcraft County Cancer Charity. This wonderful charity helps local cancer patients with the funds for travel to receive treatments. For more information, contact Connie Zellar at The State Savings Bank of Manistique at (906)341-4600.

Each year CBC also donates to Bay Cliff Health Camp. The camp serves children (called campers while at Bay Cliff!) from all of Michigan, Wisconsin, and beyond. This camp provides seven continuous weeks of individualized therapy and camp activities. Campers are referred to Bay Cliff based on their need for therapy (Occupational, Physical, or Speech and Language). They spend the summer working towards their therapy goals while having traditional summer camp fun! in 2022, we were happy to present checks for a combined total of $17,000 to go towards Bay Cliff Health Camp and its campers.
